Paper making field
Due to its coating capability, POVAL is widely used as a surface sizing agent for paper, which contributes to quality improvements in paper, such as the enhancement of surface strength, printability, abrasion resistance, solvent resistance, etc.
Application examples: Paperboard, printing paper (high grade paper, medium grade), information paper (Thermosensitive, pressure sensitive and copy paper), oil-resistant paper, release coated paper, etc.

Textile field
POVAL is used as a bond for textiles because of its tensile strength, abrasion resistance, adhesiveness, etc., which helps improve the feel, appearance and strength of fabrics.
Application examples: Warp sizing, sizing for textiles, textile resin processing, binders for felt, nonwoven cloth, etc.

Vinylon
Vinylon is a synthetic fiber made with POVAL as its main ingredient. VINYLON has such characteristics as corrosion-resistance, hygroscopicity, caustic resistance, and abrasion resistance. It has a range of applications which include the following.
Application examples: Tire cords, lace cloth, fishnets, ropes, various types of tent, sheets, etc.

Adhesives field
Because of its high adhesive strength, emulsion dispersion characteristics and homogeneity, etc., POVAL is used with a wide rage of ingredients to make adhesives and vinyl acetate emulsion.
Application examples: Office adhesives, re-moistening adhesive (adhesives for postage stamps), adhesives for pasteboard, vinyl acetate emulsion, plywood adhesives, adhesives for papers.

POVAL FILM has such characteristics as oxygen interception, transparency, and strength, and it has applications in a wide range of fields.

4. DENKA HV POLYMER
Paper field
DENKA HV POLYMER is a water-soluble resin originally developed by DENKA. It has various characteristics, such as water resistance, high viscosity, surface activity and early adhesiveness. It is used for mixing in mortar, as a binder in construction materials, a binder in agricultural chemicals, and other uses.
